SCDSB School Day Game
Barrie Baycats SCDSB School Day GameS
Our School Day Games are special Canadian Baseball League exhibition matchups. These unique daytime events give students the chance to experience live professional baseball in an energetic, school-friendly environment.
May 5th | 11:00 a.m. | Barrie Baycats vs Hamilton Cardinals
May 7th | 11:00 a.m. | Barrie Baycats vs Guelph Royals
Both games will take place at Athletic Kulture Stadium inside the Barrie Community Sports Complex (2100 Nursery Road, Midhurst, Ontario). The contests will be played over 7 innings and are expected to last approximately 2.5 hours, making them the perfect length for a memorable and well-paced field trip.
Game Day Experience
Our School Day Games are designed to be more than just a baseball game — it’s a full entertainment experience. Students will watch professional athletes compete at a high level while enjoying a day packed with excitement both on and off the field.
Throughout the game, students will take part in interactive games, on-field activities, and crowd engagement led by our in-game host. There will be prizes, raffles, and giveaways happening throughout the day, plus opportunities for students to meet the players during autograph sessions. Off the field, students can enjoy inflatable attractions and activity zones that keep the energy high from start to finish.
It’s a fun, positive atmosphere that celebrates teamwork, sportsmanship, and community — all while creating memories students won’t forget.
