"It feels great! I have been involved with and seen the impact that this team has had in the Barrie and surrounding communities over the years," said Uylenbroek to the Baycats Media Team following his hire.
"I have been lucky enough to play in the IBL for 9 seasons split between the Brantford Red Sox and Barrie Baycats starting in their inaugural season in 2001. Returning to one of the very teams I've played for feels like I've come full circle. I couldn't be any happier to yet again have the opportunity to engage in everything that this league team and city have to offer. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to what this summer has to bring.”
