Hired in November 2020, DeCaria, 23, joined the Baycats in 2017 as the team's play-by-play announcer before joining the Lansing Lugnuts of the Midwest League in 2018.

From there, DeCaria -- who was the Toronto Blue Jays' Baseball Media Intern in 2017 -- began to form relationships with many players throughout minor league baseball, which helped the Baycats sign pitcher Jayson Aquino and catcher Andres Sotillo.

Dante assists the Baycats in all areas of baseball operations, particularly on the side of player recruitment.
