Josh Matlow
Hired in January 2020 as the Baycats' general manager and field manager, the Innisfil, Ontario native is no stranger to the organization, having played for the team from 2005-2009. He was also hired as the team's President in December 2021.

A father of two, Matlow played college baseball at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York and was the Baycats' starting left fielder when they won their first championship in franchise history in 2005. He is a three time league champion winning as player, volunteer, and coach/front office executive.
Andrew White
Andrew White joined the Barrie Baycats in January 2020 as Bench Coach and Third Base Coach. He previously played for the team in 2005 and 2006.
Jeremy Uylenbroek
Jeremy, one of the first Baycats signed ahead of our inaugural season, is an experienced coach and mentor, most recently coaching for the Titans of the Canadian Premier Baseball League before returning to the Baycats in 2023 as the first base coach. In 2025, he was named the manager of the team's newly launched 22U club and serves as both a CBL coach and bench boss of the 22U Baycats today.

The Cambridge, Ontario native played for both the Barrie Baycats and Brantford Red Sox and spent time behind the plate and in the outfield during his IBL playing career.
Brad Grieveson
Hired in January 2020, Grieveson is one of the more decorated relievers in franchise history. During the 2021 season, Grieveson returned as a player/coach, pitching in games both from the rotation and from the bullpen for the Baycats. He continues to serve as one of the team's relief pitchers. His player card can be found here.

The Creemore, Ontario native played for the Baycats from 2002-2005 and recorded a lifetime earned-run-average of 1.74 -- a club record -- during that timeframe. Grieveson is a two time league champion, winning the first and most recent championship with the Baycats, and won IBL Rookie of the Year in 2002.
James Anderson
James Anderson joined the Barrie Baycats’ Baseball Operations staff in 2026 as part of the club’s athletic training team through Sinclair Sports Medical Centre, following five seasons as a player with the Baycats. A Barrie native, Anderson played collegiate baseball at Harding University while earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology before graduating with honours from New York Chiropractic College with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Sport Science and Human Performance and has additional training in athletic movement assessment, functional movement taping and neurofunctional acupuncture. Through Sinclair Sports Medical Centre, Anderson brings his experience in sports medicine, injury management and athlete performance to the Baycats organization.
Joe Breedon
Breedon is the Outdoor Recreation Facility Coordinator for the City of Barrie. The winner of the Sports Turf Manager of the Year in 2018, Breedon has been instrumental in turning sure-rainouts into playable games for many seasons now. The Barrie, Ontario native has been involved with the Baycats since 2005, the year the Baycats won their first championship in franchise history.
