BAYCATS LOOKING FOR MUSIC AND JUMBOTRON OPERATOR FOR 2025 SEASON

Barrie, ON – The Barrie Baycats are looking for a music and jumbotron operator for the 22U Barrie Baycats ahead of their inaugural season. This role may also involve covering select IBL games throughout the season.

If you are passionate about sports and eager to gain hands-on experience, the Barrie Baycats Baseball Club has an amazing team of staff, interns, and volunteers who strive to create a fun environment for players, coaches, and fans. Join our team to gain valuable experience while being part of a great atmosphere and having lots of fun!

As a Music Operator Intern with the 22U Barrie Baycats, you will be responsible for playing music throughout the game to enhance the overall fan experience. From player walk-up songs to music during breaks, you will help create the soundtrack of the game, energizing the crowd and amplifying the excitement. If you love sports, have an ear for music that gets people pumped up, and want to be part of a great team, this is the role for you — no matter your experience level.

Requirements

  • A wide taste in music appropriate for all ages is recommended.

  • Must be able to attend all home games throughout the season — the 22U Baycats have 12 home dates this season, starting on June 7th at 4:05 p.m. View the full schedule here!   • Excellent passion for the game of baseball.

What You Will Do:

  • Play music during breaks in the action.

  • Play sound effects at crucial moments to hype up the crowd.

  • Connect with the PA announcer to coordinate player intros.
