MALIK WILLIAMS RETURNS TO BAYCATS FOR 2024 SEASON

BARRIE – The Barrie Baycats are excited to announce that the big bat of Malik Williams will be returning to the team for the 2024 season. Williams spent parts of the last two seasons in Barrie and was a big part of the Baycats offence.

The 24-year-old hit .567 with the team in 2023 connecting on a pair of home runs and drove in 15 runs in 30 at-bats. He features a lot of power, something that is common throughout the roster.

The Baycats begin their 2024 season this Thursday, May 16th at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. at Vintage Throne Stadium.
