BARRIE – If there was ever a time to tune in or go see a Baycats game, today is the day. The Barrie Baycats are about to play the first-place Welland Jackfish in what has been declared a Pack-the-Park game.

Not only is it another Junior Baycats Game, but there is going to be an electric atmosphere at the ballpark. Two ball clubs that have battled each other all year with Barrie having the upper hand in the head-to-head scores. But the number one thing at the end of the year is where you rank in the standings and right now, the Jackfish have the edge.

Pending the starter for the fish, the Baycats are going with their ace Frank Garcés. Starting in all three games for Barrie against Welland this season, Garcés is 2-0 with a 2.81 ERA and 20 strikeouts in those three starts. If that wasn’t enough, Frank had a total of zero walks in that stretch.

So make sure you come on out to Vintage Throne Stadium today for this exciting matchup. The first pitch is at 4:05 pm. Get your tickets here. If you are unable to make it, Baycats TV will be streaming the game live. Enjoy the game!
