Baycats Cruise to 14-4 Victory Over Majors with Explosive Offense and Solid Pitching
Barrie, ON – In a commanding performance, the Barrie Baycats defeated the London Majors 14-4, showcasing their offensive firepower and solid pitching.
From the outset, Barrie set the tone with a relentless offensive attack. The Baycats scored six runs in the second inning alone, spearheaded by a series of timely hits. Canice Ejoh had another big game, going 4-for-6 with three RBIs and three runs scored.
Shortstop Brandon Hernandez also played a pivotal role, contributing three hits and driving in three runs, further fueling the Baycats' offensive surge. Other notable contributions included third baseman Hayden Jaco, who drove in a run, and Tyler Plumpton, who had a strong outing with three hits and two RBIs.
On the mound, starter Cesar Rosado (7-1) was solid, pitching five innings and allowing just three runs on three hits while striking out eleven batters. Relievers Braedan Pakkala and Brandon Hillier maintained the pressure, ensuring no let-up in Barrie's strong performance.
We even saw Adam Odd get an inning of work on the mound. Once a two-way threat, Odd closed out the game on the mound.
