Baycats Announce Round One Playoff Schedule vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

Barrie, ON – The Barrie Baycats are set to open their 2025 Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) playoff run with a first-round matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The best-of-five series will kick off at Athletic Kulture Stadium on Thursday night.

• Game 1: Thursday, August 21 – Toronto at Barrie – 7:35 p.m. (Athletic Kulture Stadium)

• Game 3: Sunday, August 24 – Toronto at Barrie – 4:05 p.m. (Athletic Kulture Stadium)
  
  

• Game 4: Tuesday, August 26 – Barrie at Toronto – 7:30 p.m. (Christie Pits) if necessary
  
  

• Game 5: Wednesday, August 27 – Toronto at Barrie – 7:35 p.m. (Athletic Kulture Stadium) if necessary

The Baycats secured the No. 2 seed in the IBL postseason and will enjoy home-field advantage in the opening round. Barrie and Toronto battled closely throughout the regular season, setting the stage for an exciting playoff showdown.
