Baycats Announce Internship Opportunities for 2026 Season

Barrie, ON — The Barrie Baycats Baseball Club is excited to announce that intern applications are now open for the 2026 Canadian Baseball League season. This program offers hands-on experience in professional sports, giving interns the opportunity to contribute directly to gameday operations at Athletic Kulture Stadium.

Interns will work closely with Baycats staff and volunteers throughout the summer, helping deliver an exciting and professional fan experience at every home game. Positions are available across several areas essential to game day execution:

• Official Scorer

• Scoreboard Operator

• Music & Videoboard Operator

• Broadcast Production Assistant

• In-Game Social Media Manager

• Equipment Manager

The Baycats are seeking motivated, reliable individuals who bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Previous experience in sports, media production, or live event operations is an asset but not required.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Positions are volunteer-based with mentorship opportunities and access to professional development throughout the season.
