2025 IBL Playoff FAQ

The playoffs are an exciting time for Baycats fans, and we want to make sure you’re ready to cheer us on every step of the way. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about playoff tickets, schedules, and the game day experience. Additionally, please reference our “Know Before You Go” page for more information.

How do I buy playoff tickets?
 Fans can purchase their playoff tickets online using this link, or at the box office before any playoff home game. The box office is located just to the right of the main gate.

Are playoff tickets included in season tickets or flex packs?
 No. Playoff tickets are separate from all other ticket packages.

Will ticket prices be the same as regular season games?
 Playoff tickets are slightly higher in price:

  • Youth (ages 3–12): $5

  • Adult (13+): $15

  • Senior (65+): $12

Do kids still get in free/discounted?
 Children aged two and under do not require a ticket. Those aged 3–12 need a ticket for admission during the playoffs. Youth tickets are $5 each.

How is the playoff schedule decided?
 Teams work together to schedule games in their respective playoff series. Once the schedule is agreed upon, it is shared within both organizations and then released to the public.

How many games are in each round?

  • Round 1: Best of five – the first team to win three games moves on. At least three games are played, with games four and five only played if necessary.

  • Round 2: Best of five – the first team to win three games moves on. At least three games are played, with games four and five only played if necessary.

  • Round 3 (Finals): Best of seven – the first team to win four games wins the championship. At least four games are played, with games five, six, and seven only played if necessary.

What does “if necessary” mean on the schedule?
 “If necessary” games are only played if needed in the series. For example, if a team wins in three games in a best-of-five, then games four and five are not required.

How many rounds are there in the IBL playoffs?
 Three.

Will concessions and merchandise still be available?
 Yes, they will!

What time do gates open?
 Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch.

What happens if a playoff game gets rained out?
 In the event of a rainout, your ticket will be valid for any future playoff game.

How will fans be notified of schedule changes?
